The tournament was a great success with 22 teams and 44 competitors participating! Thunder Bay was covered in fog to start. Water was calm and clear most of the morning. A thunderstorm cell pushed through early afternoon that produced heavy rains and winds up to 25mph forcing some competitors in early while others rode it out on the water. Competitors found walleye and pike throughout the bay. Commisioner John Walters joined us for the weigh-in and award ceremony to meet and talk about the future of underwater spearfishing in Michigan. After which the raffle was held and prizes were distributed.
